Delete your account

You can delete your Doyna account and all associated data at any time. Two paths below.

1. From the mobile app (fastest)

  1. Open the Doyna app.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm twice. Your account is queued for deletion immediately.

2. By web request (no app needed)

If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the email address linked to your Doyna account:

Body: “Please delete the Doyna account linked to this email address.”

We'll confirm receipt within one business day and complete the deletion within 30 days (GDPR Art. 12).

What gets deleted

  • Your Doyna user record (email, name, OAuth identifiers, organization role).
  • Your mailbox and calendar cache held by Doyna.
  • Your AI conversation history and any uploaded documents.
  • Your authentication tokens (Microsoft / Google OAuth grants and Doyna session tokens). We also revoke the OAuth consent so Doyna no longer has access to your mailbox or calendar from the provider side.
  • Personal preferences stored on our backend.

What is retained, and for how long

  • Encrypted backups purged within 90 days on the standard rotation.
  • Billing records retained as required by Romanian tax law (typically 10 years), with personal identifiers minimized.
  • Security / abuse logs retained up to 6 months for incident investigation; do not contain message content.
  • Tenant-owned content (B2B): if your organization administrator still has an active Doyna tenant, shared content owned by the organization is governed by the organization's retention policy, not yours. Your personal copy is deleted; ask your admin about org-owned content.

If you change your mind

Deletion is permanent. We do not maintain a “trash” or recovery window once your data is purged from active systems. If you contact us within the first 24 hours, we may be able to abort the deletion job; after that, your data cannot be restored.
